AI Workflow - Allianz
Team GB Winter Olympics Post
Client:
Allianz (via agency)
My Role:
Creative Director & AI Compositor, AI generation, compositing, brand oversight, motion tracking, final delivery.
Timeline:
2 days Deliverables: 16x9 and 9x16 social formats.
The Brief:
Take existing drone footage of Twickenham Stadium and transform it entirely, a ski ring around the roof, the pitch buried in snow, skiers circling the rink, to announce the Allianz and Team GB Winter Olympics partnership.
Visually ambitious, tight social budget, two-day turnaround. The concept came from Allianz. Making it real was my job.
My Role:
Traditional CGI or a live-action shoot would have been impossible within the budget and timeline.
I built the piece using a combination of AI image generation and AI video generation, transforming the stadium environment and producing convincing skier footage that could be composited into the original drone footage.
Every AI-generated element was reviewed, corrected and approved before it made it into the final cut.
Brand accuracy required particular care, AI tools distort logos and typographic lockups. Rather than trust the AI to handle the Allianz identity, I motion tracked the logo manually in After Effects, ensuring it sat correctly in the snowy environment and remained exactly on brand throughout.
The Outcome:
A visually ambitious campaign delivered in two days at a fraction of the cost of a traditional production, proof that intelligent AI integration combined with rigorous brand oversight can unlock creative ambition that a conventional budget wouldn't allow.
