Five videos across multiple large-format screen sizes, social formats and text variants. CGI print assets also produced.

The Brief:

Clarios needed a suite of premium video assets to anchor their booth at IAA Transportation 2024, one of the world's largest commercial vehicle shows. The brief arrived through agency partner The 10 Group with a mood board and rough outline scripts but little else. Rather than wait for more detail, I developed the creative concept independently, a highly polished hero animation featuring a branded Clarios truck moving through the European countryside, alongside supporting assets, layered with futuristic visual elements that reflected the company's forward-facing positioning in electric battery innovation.

My Role:

From that concept I storyboarded the full creative approach and guided a team of artist through every stage of the hero film, building out the core master elements myself while providing detailed direction throughout.

Across the additional four supporting chapter videos I directed further team members simultaneously, maintaining creative consistency across all five pieces while personally executing the fifth. A sound designer was brought in at the final stage and directed to match the audio world precisely to the visual tone.

Throughout production I tracked the budget in real time, managing spend as the project evolved to ensure the full scope was delivered without overrunning.

The Deliverables:

The hero film was produced in two large-format booth screen sizes, 2688x1344 and 3840x1920, plus 1x1, 9x16 and 1920x960 versions, each with and without text graphics overlaid.
The four supporting videos were each delivered in 16x9, 1x1 and 9x16. Five videos, multiple format variants, concept to final export, all under a single creative lead.

The Outcome:

Played to approximately 145,000 attendees at IAA Transportation 2024. Both Clarios and The 10 Group were delighted with the result.
Clarios have since returned for two further expo campaigns.
