The Project:

Designing for a screen in Times Square is a different creative problem entirely. The brief was a Christmas promotional campaign for Disney, and the destination was one of the most viewed advertising locations in the world.

Working directly with the American company operating the screens, I was walked through the After Effects project setup and technical delivery specifications before designing the layout to work within those constraints.

Getting motion to read clearly at that scale, in daylight, in a location where everything is competing for attention, requires a different kind of discipline and seeing it land there was one of those moments that doesn't really feel real.
